TeoCast Automation Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how TeoCast uses cookies and similar technologies on the website, online store, customer portal, cart, checkout, account, download, and support pages.

Cookie choices at a glance

Strictly necessary cookies may be used without an optional consent choice because they are required for security, login, cart, checkout, account, and other services requested by the visitor. Analytics, advertising, social-media tracking, or similar non-essential cookies will be used only when enabled and where the required consent has been obtained.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files or data records stored by a website in a visitor’s browser or device. They allow a website to remember information about a visit, such as login status, shopping-cart contents, account sessions, preferences, and consent choices.

Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, and server-side identifiers. In this policy, the term “cookies” includes these similar technologies where appropriate.

2. Types of cookies

First-party cookies Set directly by TeoCast.com to operate the website, store, cart, checkout, account, downloads, and preferences.
Third-party cookies Set by an external provider whose service appears on or supports the website, such as a payment, embedded-content, analytics, or security provider.
Session cookies Temporary cookies that generally expire when the browser session ends or after a short period.
Persistent cookies Remain for a stated period or until removed, allowing preferences or recognized settings to continue across visits.

3. Why TeoCast uses cookies

  • Keep the website and customer portal secure.
  • Maintain login and authenticated account sessions.
  • Remember cart contents and checkout progress.
  • Process requested orders, downloads, and account functions.
  • Remember cookie and website preferences.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, automated attacks, and unauthorized access.
  • Diagnose technical problems and maintain website performance.
  • Measure website use or marketing performance only when optional analytics or advertising tools are enabled and legally permitted.

4. Strictly necessary cookies

Strictly necessary cookies support services requested by the visitor, including the shopping cart, checkout, login, account, security, and download functions. Blocking these cookies may prevent important parts of the website from working correctly.

Security and anti-abuse cookies TeoCast or security provider Session or limited period Helps protect forms, accounts, checkout, and website infrastructure against malicious or automated activity.
The exact cookie names and durations may change when WordPress, WooCommerce, security settings, checkout features, or other necessary website components are updated.

5. Optional analytics, advertising, and preference cookies

TeoCast may add optional tools in the future to understand website use, improve pages, measure campaigns, display embedded content, or remember non-essential preferences.

Where consent is required, these optional cookies will not be activated until the visitor accepts the relevant category. Visitors should be able to reject optional cookies without losing access to the basic website, although optional media, personalization, or measurement features may remain unavailable.

Category Possible purpose Default treatment
Preferences Remember optional language, interface, display, or convenience settings beyond strictly necessary functions. Used according to the consent tool and applicable law.
Analytics Measure visits, page use, referrals, errors, and general website performance. Disabled until consent where prior consent is required.
Advertising Measure campaigns, create advertising audiences, or personalize advertisements. Disabled until valid consent where used.
Embedded media and social content Load videos, maps, social widgets, or other external content that may place third-party cookies. May require consent before the external content loads.
The current policy must be updated before adding a new analytics, advertising, video, social-media, chat, or tracking service if that service introduces cookies or processing not already described here.

6. Third-party cookies and external services

Third-party cookies may be set when a visitor uses an external service connected to the website. Examples may include PayPal checkout, anti-fraud tools, security services, embedded videos, or other external content.

Third-party providers determine their own cookie names, purposes, duration, security, and privacy practices. Their processing is governed by their own policies and may change independently of TeoCast.

Opening a third-party payment page or external website may allow that provider to set cookies directly under its own terms. Review the provider’s privacy and cookie notices before using the service.

7. Managing your cookie choices

Where a cookie-consent banner or settings panel is available, you may accept all optional cookies, reject optional cookies, or select individual categories. Strictly necessary cookies cannot normally be disabled through the consent panel because they support requested website functions.

Consent for optional cookies may be withdrawn or changed through the cookie-settings control when available. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the withdrawal.

Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent access to basic website information. It may prevent optional analytics, personalization, embedded media, or other non-essential features from operating.

8. Browser and device controls

Most browsers allow visitors to view, block, delete, or restrict cookies through privacy or site-data settings. Visitors may also use private-browsing modes or clear stored site data.

Browser-level blocking applies independently of the TeoCast consent tool. Blocking all cookies may prevent login, customer portal, cart, checkout, password setup, account, download, and other requested functions from working.

9. Cookie duration and related records

Session cookies generally expire after the browser session or a short operational period. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiration date, until the purpose ends, or until the visitor removes them.

Server-side records linked to cookies, sessions, accounts, security, orders, downloads, or consent choices may be retained separately in accordance with the TeoCast Privacy Policy and applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and security requirements.

10. Changes to this Cookie Policy

TeoCast may update this policy when WordPress, WooCommerce, payment methods, security tools, analytics, embedded services, consent settings, or applicable requirements change.

The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or cookie-consent interface where appropriate.
