Configure file-based spoken time announcements, then use a dynamic marker so TeoCast announces the correct time when it reaches the event.
- Prepare the audio folderKeep the spoken time files together. TeoCast supports HHMM-style names such as 0119, 1230 and 2330, as well as hour-and-minute file sets.
- Open Control Panel → Time AnnouncementEnable file-based time announcement, choose the folder with Browse, then run Validate Files.
- Apply the configurationChoose the required schedule or insert behavior and select Apply Time Announcement.
- Place the markerIn Scheduler → Playlist Generator, select Add Content → Time Announcement and put it at the intended position in the Program Clock.
- Review before airUse Preview / Cue when available, then generate or save the final broadcast log.
DJ Break
A DJ Break is a prepared presenter or DJ recording placed as a standalone on-air item in the broadcast order.
- Prepare the recordingExport the finished DJ Break and make sure it is available from the source or library used in TeoCast.
- Open the target logOpen Scheduler → Playlist Generator, then load the Program Clock or broadcast log you need to edit.
- Add the DJ BreakSelect Add Content → DJ Break, then choose the recording.
- Set the on-air positionPlace it at the right time and review the items immediately before and after it in the timeline.
- Generate and checkSave or generate the log, then confirm the DJ Break appears in the final playlist before the program begins.
Auto / Manual Mode
Auto Mode is for continuous automated playback. Manual Mode gives the DJ direct control of the playlist and playback.
- Open the mode controlUse the Auto / Manual control on the bottom toolbar of the main TeoCast window.
- Use Auto Mode for automationSelect Auto Mode and choose the required Library Music and/or Music Clock source. Check that the future queue refills from the expected source.
- Use Manual Mode for a live shiftSelect Manual Mode when the DJ will arrange and start playback directly. Library Music and Music Clock are not automatic sources in this mode.
- Choose live assists carefullyStation ID, Sweeper and Ads Clock assists may still be used in Manual Mode when they suit the station workflow.
- Confirm statusCheck the mode label in the main window before leaving a shift unattended or handing over to another operator.
Control Panel
Control Panel is the central place to configure the station before normal on-air operation.
- Open Control PanelSelect Control Panel from the main TeoCast title bar.
- Set Audio Setup / Audio RoutingChoose Main Output for on-air playback and Preview / Cue Output for safe auditioning. Select DJ Mic Input only when the station uses it.
- Test routingUse a safe test item to confirm Main and Cue audio arrive at the correct devices.
- Configure station toolsOpen Talk Over, Voice Track or Time Announcement only when the station needs those features, then apply the change in that section.
- Review storage and licensingCheck Library / Storage, System and License / Activation as needed, then confirm product status before going live.
